The Huawei E160 USB modem is a cellular modem that connect your computer over the 3G broadband network. It can access internet on all quad-band GSM 850/900/1800/1900 networks and UMTS/HSDPA (850/1900/2100 MHz) networks. which support download speed up to 3.6Mbps.
Also, the E160 stick modem supports PC voice and message writing/sending/receiving and group sending (up to 20 contacts at a time). so you can manage messages through the dashboard, such as sorting the messages by telephone number or time. You can also import/export messages between the SIM/USIM card and a laptop.
The installation technique employed in Huawei E160 mobile broadband dongle is Plug-n-Go. That is, you can insert your 3G SIM card into the modem, plug the dongle into the USB port of the laptop/desktop and start accessing internet. When you plug the dongle for the first time, a software installation has to be done. The installation wizard will guide you through this process.
